Meet Your Administrators
As Competition Secretary, Ian Kerr deals with the processing of competition entries and compiles the draws for the various events. Tournament administration is handled by Archie Wohlgemuth and David Terrey in a friendly and efficient manner. They took over in 2012 from Bill and Dorothy Crighton who were instrumental in introducing the very high standard of administration which is the hallmark of all our events. Now retired, Bill and Dorothy still provide support on an occasional basis for events in the North of Scotland.
Alan Nelson deals with the administration of the various order of merit tables in which there is great interest.
Jim and Peter Kinloch have been the Joint Secretaries and Treasurers since the Society was formed and have played a major part in its development. We have been extremely fortunate to have had two such talented and dedicated individuals handling the Society's affairs. Unique in many respects, Jim and Peter retired from their roles at the end of 2015.
With all our administration effort being given voluntarily it is important that members do all they can to assist our administration team. While nothing appears to faze them it does make their job much easier if you enter and pay in good time for all events.
From 2015 onwards we have taken the opportunity to simplify the entry process with the use of a PO Box number for mail. The preferred form of entry for events is by mail with payment being made by cheque rather than via PayPal which involves a cost to the Society for each transaction.
