Entry forms for our various events can be downloaded by clicking on the links below.
You can use one form to enter for all the regional opens and the Spring and Autumn Opens but separate entries are required for the other events.
All entries close one month before the first competition date, except for the Inter-Area Team Championships or winter events (2 weeks for winter events).
The preferred method of entry is to submit your entry by post with a cheque made payable to "Scottish Seniors Golfing Society " and a note of all the competitions being entered. All entries should be sent to
Scottish Seniors Golfing Society
PO Box 19610
Payments can also be made by Paypal but this involves a transaction charge for the Society which we would prefer to avoid. Alternatively you can pay by Direct Bank Transfer to the Society's Bank Account at 83-25-15, Account Number 00652674. Please ensure you quote your name and competitions being entered as a reference on the transfer and post your entry forms to the address shown above.
Following on from the changes made in 2015, the Super Seniors Matchplay Championship will again be run in conjunction with the main SSGS matchplay event at Alyth Golf Club on 10 -14 July 2017. Members aged 65 or over at 00.01 hours on 10 July 2017 may either restrict their involvement to trying to qualify for the Super Seniors Matchplay event only or they may enter for the main matchplay event. If a Super Senior qualifies for the main matchplay event he must play in that event. A Super Senior who does not qualify for the main event will be given the opportunity to play in the matchplay stages of the Super Seniors event if he has qualified on the basis of his net aggregate score.
As a means of encouraging non-members to join the Society and, If there are available places in event fields, non-members are allowed to participate in one event. Entries from non-members should be accompanied by payment of the entry fee, proof of age and a current handicap certificate.
Please note that entry to the SGL Scottish Seniors Open Championship and the R&A British Seniors Open Championship will require to be made seperately to the relevant organising authority. By clicking on the relevant link above you will be taken direct to either the SGL or R&A pages.
