Malcolm Reid wins in Spain. The big Anglo Scot who has a plus 1 handicap won in a close finish from Ian Jeen with defending champ Ian Brotherston a stroke further back. Heavy rain on the Thursday caused the event to be curtailed to 36 holes. The demanding Las Colinas course took its toll on many competitors but Malcolm's excellent 71-74 for 145 was a tribute to his effective course management.
The well established pairing of Gordon MacDonald and Sandy Pirie had a superb win in the doubles event. Full details on Murcia Seniors Open page, photos on Las Colinas Gallery.
Bob Stewart tops 2011 Order of Merit. Tulliallan's finest led going into the Finals Day "Shoot Out" at The Blairgowrie Golf Club and ensured it stayed like that with a best of the day 74 round the demanding Landsdowne course. See Results and Reports. Final OOM table now onsite.

Player Honours, Caps, Achievements. The page is building up nicely but there are still a large number of members whose coyness is depriving others of an appreciation of their successes. Successes need not be in major championships or national representation. Club, County, 36 holers, anything you look back o with a wee bit of pride. Panmure's Dougal Chalmers is the latest to contribute. Dougal has won the Eden trophy TWICE. How good is that?
